PMC partners with government public health clients on numerous projects to deliver efficiency and effectiveness and help achieve their missions. PMC features strong capabilities in health IT program management, guidance, assessment, and planning, and in health IT technical assistance, content development, and program-related projects and studies. PMC works with several agencies at the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) such as the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ). Within NIH, PMC has provided support to the Office of the Chief Information Officer/Chief Architect, the Office of Research Information Systems (ORIS), and the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR).
At PMC we provide program management support to the eRA grants management program, assisting the NIH Office of Extramural Research (OER) to identify important areas of emerging scientific opportunities or rising public health challenges and to help accelerate investments in those areas. PMC is also helping AHRQ manage their initiatives in health services research to improve the quality of health care and promote evidence-based decision-making.
At the National Cancer Institute Center for Biomedical Informatics and Information Technology (CBIIT) PMC delivers professional consulting support to advance organizational change and development services with a broad range of management initiatives designed to improve the NCI Center’s customer centric, agility and effectiveness. At the NCI, PMC delivers professional consulting support spanning: areas of strategic planning, organizational and leadership development, change management, organizational alignment, customer relationship management (CRM), the implementation of a Project Coordination Office (PCO), and the development of a revised governance structure and process for CPIC and EPLC compliance.
